Inspired by a single government cleaning contract to proportionally represent the communities in which they work, Ventia has transformed its workforce, increasing disability employment by 450% since 2019.
Ventia appointed a Disability and Social Inclusion Manager to drive cultural change, review job design and engage disability employment operators. They successfully smashed their initial target, subsequently rolling the strategy out to other contracts. An additional two managers were appointed, implementing standardised recruitment and training processes.
