From facilitating vital support systems for her daughter, Billie Mirceski is now a leading Support Coordinator, managing complex cases for others. She emphasises independence, goal-setting and personalised support, ensuring participants are informed and empowered to make decisions about their care. Through her efforts, she has facilitated home modifications (which reunited a couple after five years), assisted psychosocial participants through significant transitions like an interstate move and supported non-verbal individuals in complex family dynamics. Billie's professional growth is supported by ongoing training, mentorship and networking.
Billie is driven by a commitment to connect participants with the relevant supports and a passion for improving participants lives. She finds the ability to empower and positively impact their lives deeply fulfilling and to know that her efforts have made a meaningful difference in their paths to greater independence and well-being is incredibly gratifying.
Billie's determination and perseverance is evident in her own life - she lost 50 kilos and then ran a half marathon. An incredible achievement!
